We make it complicated.

The truth may not always be pretty or easy to digest, nevertheless, it’s beautifully pragmatic.

It’s a simple yes or no. Yet, sometimes it’s a yes AND no — a paradox.
What we hear often is more of an “explanation” of the truth, a justification for the yes or the no.
[Maybe I’m just implying that even open-ended questions fall under this theory as well.
]

Generally speaking though, most of the time we all know what the truth is.

Want to master chess? Practice.

Want to lose weight? Watch what you eat and exercise.

Want to have a healthy marriage…

“Happy wife, happy life.”

Men are from Mars. Women are from Venus.

We all know that each gender has its differences, right?

Even though 99 percent of our genetic “coding” looks very much alike, that small 1 percent is enough to draw the line between males and females.

My intention by writing this is to either inform or review information regarding women’s brain circuitry in order for men to get a better understanding of their inner world.
[Don’t worry… I’ll prepare one for women about men, later on.]

Women’s hormones drive many of their behaviors.

Before we dive into the 5 aspects I wanted to share, I thought it would also be important to remind how crucial it is…

“How can there be so much that you don’t know?”

“You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You’ll learn things you never knew you never knew”

Why are all Disney movies so great? I guess that’s why its success rate is high.

Disney movies have awesome messages for our children and what’s even better… is that they will be there for them to revisit once they grow up and have children of their own and they can get reminded of the important aspects of life, like remaining grounded and humble.

The…

What’s your approach?

At the park today, while my kiddos were playing around with other kids, there was a boy that came and asked me if he could sit down next to me on the bench. I said, yes — obviously.

The boy shared with me that he was 12 years old. He asked me how many kids I had, I said two. Then my daughter (Luna, 7 yo) approached him and asked him to play, he kindly asked her to give him a minute to catch his breath. Then he asked my daughter: “Hey Luna, remember how earlier I asked you if…

How precise are you with the words you use in communication?

You can say I have an obsession with words.

The words people choose to construct their thoughts or ideas that ultimately get to your ears. In other words; what they say.

There’s a bit of a difference with words. When you write, you have a bit more time to think and be more selective with your words.
When it’s live, let's say — and you have to think on the spot, you will see that people will use different words. They aren’t thought-out which leads to poor communication and misunderstandings.

I need people to be specific. It might take longer…

Here’s another piece for you to judge.

No, no, no, and no.

Just…. no.

No, to everything.

Why anything?

“Everything” and “anything” — nice. You follow? No. — I know.

Why does my brain do this? What’s the point? Honestly…
Brain — what.do.you.want?

I sometimes get tired of the non-stop questions. Can you believe I have an inner competition with myself? How is that even possible?
I swear, some days I think I’m truly crazy.
What’s crazier and makes this more probable, is that I don’t appear crazy. HA!

Maybe people that are truly crazy, hide it extremely well because we don’t want to lose our liberty?

What does it take for our kids to grow up smarter than most?

As a parent of 2 children (4 and 7 years old), I am very interested in finding ways to increase their success in life by starting early and I’ve always wondered what other schools teach (either in the US or abroad) that allows some kids to score higher in tests and have a better IQ than others.

I wonder a lot about their education…

Is it mainly the school they go to?
Does socioeconomic status have the most to do with it?
How about the teachers? Where can we find the best teachers? …

“We’re far from the shallow now”…

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, (a.k.a. Lady Gaga) is such a beautiful woman. Most pictures you’ll see of her on the Internet, are of her with extravagant outfits and equally extravagant makeup to complement it, which makes it difficult to appreciate her natural beauty.

This might seem like a very mainstream artist to pick as one of my “favorites” — it doesn’t matter.

I was drawn to her by her first song ‘Just Dance’, released in 2008.

Her music videos are on the weird spectrum, her lyrics are unique and her voice is incomparable. …

How much thought have you put into the tears that come down your cheeks?

“Why are you crying…?”

Asking this with the undertone of “You’re weak” versus “How can I help?” — is quite insensitive, just keep that in mind.

Luckily, it’s been a while since I’ve cried out of sadness.

If I cry, it’s 99% because of an incredible amount of frustration that has been bottled up and my being has no more room for it inside, so it has to come out, and it comes as tears.

Different types of tears.

Let’s quickly review what the different tears are.

#1. Basal tears. This is the one we see in our eyes all the time. It’s basically…

“The Hollywood sign don’t catch my eye much anymore”

“I’d change my name to find a space to get some rest
I’d give my face to find a place to put my head
But this is who we are
There’s no glamor to it
I board the plane and sleep my way to LAX
I cried at the rain, but there’s no way that I’m depressed
Oh, if I think too hard
I’m scared I might lose it”

This will be a short story today.

I like this song because even though the title is not as uplifting as the tunes (or the lyrics), the song has a…
